Yorkshire Water (YW) have signed a partnering agreement to support the City RainNet R&D project. As part of the arrangement, YW have ordered a network of 36 Isodaq Frog RX GPRS loggers linked to Ott Pluvio2 rain-gauges to support Hydro-Logic's City RainNet KTP R&D project. The gauges will be installed during the summer on the north-east coastal towns of North Yorkshire between Scarborough and Bridlington, and will be used to improve the calibration of the existing radar rainfall measurement systems.
