TS (Time Series) Publisher is a batch process available from the File Export module of HydroLog4/TimeBase4 and the Task Master scheduler.

 

It allows the production of 'snapshot' files to enable time-series data browsing via Internet Explorer and other favourite web browsers on an intranet or web page - without the need for a live link to the central warehouse.

One licence permits any number of users to view the data in this way and no special installation program is needed on your PC to view the data. It uses the same components as www.timeview.net and you can visit this site for a demonstration.

 

TS Publisher builds a simple index page listing the data available (grouped by station). The screen shots illustrate how all the data for a station is presented and how to select a particular parameter for zooming into a larger image and examining in tabular form for more detailed information.

 

The Task Master scheduler can be used to refresh the views every month, day, hour or even every 15 minutes, providing near-real-time access to the data in a very simple to use form.
