Like its namesake FROG is an unobtrusive friend that sits quietly keeping an eye on things, ready to leap into action when there is imminent danger.  FROG RX operates either as a standalone battery-powered data logger or as a telemetry logger. An internal GSM/GPRS modem is built onto the main logger board to provide all the functionality expected of a telemetry logger designed for alarm monitoring applications - harsh environments where installation costs need to be minimised. It is supplied with either integral antennae or an antennae socket if external high-gain antenna are to be fitted. The ruggedised, low cost IP68 device is designed to fit inside a 100mm (4ins) tube. It is particularly targeted at hydrometric monitoring including riverside tubes and groundwater level monitoring in boreholes. View enclosure options here. It even fits under small meter-box covers with no need to provide large secondary enclosures, or clamped to a pole or lamppost.
